Cross Morecambe Bay Walk
A unique walk across Morecambe Bay lead by the Queen's Guide to the Sands, Mr Cedric Robinson MBE.
When? Sunday 12th June 2011, 2.30pm start
Where? Walk across the Bay from Arnside to Kent's Bank (8 miles)
Time? 2.30pm - (around) 6.00pm (weather and conditions dependent)
Who? All section members, leaders, parents, brothers/sisters, family,
friends and supporters
How many? 175 places only (first come, first served)
Cost? Adults: £10.00, Children (under 18): £5.00
What's Included? Return coach from Kent's Bank to Arnside (the railway
line will be closed for repairs on this day); exclusive West Lancashire Jamboree Unit Badge; security wrist-band; further instructions about the walk.

Valentine's Lovin' Cakes Sale
Where: Market Gate Shopping Centre, Lancaster
When: 10am - 4pm
Date: Saturday 12th February 2011
The Scouts are going to be selling cakes and teddy bears for Valentines Day only two short days after. There will be plenty of cakes, of many variety, some looking pretty and pink, some chewy and chocolatey. It should be exciting.
Hopefully we'll get the Scouts, Cubs and maybe, just maybe, the Beavers to help out.
It went amazingly well, we had a lot of support from Lonsdale (And we are so thankful for it), plenty of scrummy cakes to sell, and munch on. The whole thing ws smashing!
